Lulu Wild Is Coming to Colmore Food Festival 2026

Lulu Wild will be at the Colmore Food Festival 2026, bringing our Chinese food to Victoria Square on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July 2026.

For those who haven’t yet experienced Lulu Wild, now’s your chance to discover what all of Birmingham has been talking about. For those of you who know us already, come and find us in the square.

The Colmore Food Festival

In its thirteenth year, the Colmore Food Festival is now one of the most popular free events in Birmingham’s summer programme. It’s held in Victoria Square and brings together restaurants, bars, and independent traders and producers from the Colmore Business District for a weekend of food, drink and live entertainment.

In 2025, the festival drew a record 75,000 visitors over the two days. For the 2026 edition, the festival will be open from 11am to 8pm on July 3 and 4, with free admission.

Food lovers from all over Birmingham and the region get the chance to try new restaurants, visit old favourites, and experience the city’s hospitality scene, all in one open-air venue.

What Lulu Wild is bringing to the festival

The Colmore Food Festival’s stalls offer visitors a true taste of each restaurant’s cooking at an attractive price. We’ve thought carefully about the dishes we’re bringing this year, choosing those that best reflect the bold flavours our kitchen is known for.

Full details of our festival dishes will be announced closer to the date, so keep an eye on our social media and this page for updates. Expect some snacks inspired by our regular menu, but it will unmistakably be Lulu Wild.

Why it’s worth seeking out Lulu Wild at the festival

Lulu Wild is not an ordinary restaurant, and our festival stall won’t be a typical one either.

Our modern Chinese food is rooted in the wider history of Chinese cooking, where fresh ingredients, health and flavour have always mattered. Every dish we serve at the festival will reflect that, from the ingredients we choose to how each plate is put together.

Lulu Wild has earned a reputation as one of Birmingham’s best-loved restaurants since opening in Brindleyplace, and the festival stall offers a taste of that experience in the heart of the city.

The team on the stall are the same people who work in the restaurant every day, bringing the same warmth, professionalism and enthusiasm.

Find us at Victoria Square

We’ll be in Victoria Square, Birmingham, for both days of the festival, right in the heart of the city, just a couple of minutes from New Street Station and easy to reach by car, tram or bus.

Loved what you tasted? Come and visit us at the restaurant

This is only a sampler. The full Lulu Wild experience is just a ten-minute walk away at The Waters Edge, Brindleyplace.

In the two-storey restaurant, the setting is natural and earthy on the lower floor, but plush and red with neon lights on the upper floor. The Sip Expedition cocktail list is put together by a genuinely skilled bar team, and the food menu includes aromatic crispy duck rolls, BBQ belly pork bao buns, kung po prawns and wagyu steak with General Tso sauce.

When the sun is shining, The Nest opens its retractable roof and the whole restaurant feels like a different city.

Make a weekend of it with bottomless brunch

Attending the festival on Saturday 4 July? Start the day with Lulu Wild’s bottomless brunch, then head to Victoria Square.

Free-flowing cocktails and sparkling wine with a range of Chinese dishes, dim sum and bao buns among them, make a good warm-up to a day at the festival. Tables are scarce during the festival weekend, so it’s worth booking in advance.
