Private dining rooms in Birmingham, matched to your group
A lot of private dining rooms in Birmingham city centre are simply a side room. Ours are private dining spaces spaces with their own character, away from the main restaurant but with the same kitchen and bar behind them. Which one suits you depends on the size of the group and the kind of night you want.
- Around 20 to 30 guests, seated: The Nest. Round tables, firefly lighting and its own outdoor access, cosy enough for a birthday dinner where everyone can talk to each other.
- Up to 56 seated or 80 standing: The Hideout. Its own fully stocked bar, a baby grand piano, a mini stage and a hidden screen for speeches or a slideshow.
- Up to 200 standing, or around 102 seated: exclusive hire of the whole venue, both floors and every bar.
Group dining without the guesswork
Large group dining goes wrong when twelve people try to order from a full menu at once. For a private room the kitchen builds the food around your group instead: set banqueting menus for a sit-down dinner, sharing plates passed round the table, or canapés for a standing reception. Expect crispy lotus salad, aromatic crispy duck, stir-fried chicken in preserved black bean sauce and truffle spring rolls, with vegetarian and vegan dishes running properly through the menu. Dietary requirements are agreed with the events team in advance rather than on the night.
Drinks are just as flexible: arrival cocktails with wine on the tables, a package per head, or a tab with an agreed limit, which keeps the most unpredictable line in the budget under control.
For every occasion
Corporate dinners and client entertaining, birthday parties and milestone celebrations, engagements, team nights out and family gatherings. A private room gives a special occasion its own space and its own pace, and the events team handles the planning so the person organising it gets to enjoy the night too.
How booking private dining works
Private dining works on a minimum spend on food and drink. The figure depends on the day of the week, the number of guests and your timings, so a Tuesday lunch and a Saturday night in December are very different propositions. Send your date, rough numbers and the kind of event through the enquiry form below, or call the venue, and the events team will come back with a clear figure. Weekend and festive dates go early.
